Description of Services: 84-bed long-term care home * residential care for 18 private rooms, 29 semi-private rooms, and 37 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals

  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs


Additional services and facilities:

  • physiotherapy and occupational therapy
  • restorative care/activation therapy
  • palliative care
  • advanced foot care
  • hair dressing
  • music, pet and art therapy
  • volunteer program
  • pastoral care with interdenominational services provided by 14 area churches

 
Short-Stay Care (Public) We do not have a short stay bed
 
Southampton Care Centre 4 interim beds (residential care for hospital patients waiting for long-stay admission) * publicly funded * residents have access to the same services as long-stay residents

Fees: Rates set by the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care * subsidies for basic rates may be available for eligible applicants
